Glider Nectar is a balanced diet for gum & nectar-eating species including Sugar Glider, Squirrel Glider, Yellow-bellied Glider and Leadbeater’s Possum. Makes-up as a liquid to replicate the nutritional composition of a nectar and pollen diet, combined with acacia gum and pectin to provide a source of soluble fibre.
DIRECTIONS:
To make one litre of food mix 350g of powder with 750mL of pre-boiled warm water.
Store prepared food refrigerated for a day or frozen for up to 2 weeks.
FEEDING GUIDE:
Use as the maintenance nectar diet for gliders and Leadbeater’s Possums. Overfeeding can cause obesity, so feed the suggested amounts in the feeding guide. Replace uneaten nectar daily to avoid spoilage. Offer native blossom, acacia and gum branches and invertebrates daily.
